It’s really so sad when a screen legend like this passes. There’s barely any people left from the glamorous days of Hollywood. On a slightly creepy note, apparently the writer for her obituary in the New York Times actually died in 2005….eek!

Isn’t that photo amazing? It was taken in 1958 in New York City the year she received an Oscar nomination for “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”

Love, Elizabeth

I’m very sad to hear about Elizabeth Taylor’s passing. National Velvet was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I always thought she reminded me a little bit of my mother.  She was her own brand of gorgeous.

Flowers on Park Ave

Yes, welcome Trina!

She moved from the Upper East Side – where I just happened to be yesterday.  It’s not often I find myself on the Upper East Side (let’s face it, I don’t often leave Brooklyn). I had such a nice time passing the 25 foot flower installations by artist William Ryman (son of Robert Ryman).  They were such a breath of fresh air on a chilly day.
